What’s Included?
This monthly subscription includes 24/7 access to our legal aid hotline. That means you can ask an attorney anything on your mind, anywhere, anytime. The subscription covers up to 15 questions per month (including questions with multiple “subparts” or smaller questions), and up to 5 unused questions “rollover” into the new month.
How Do I Ask My Questions?
Once you click “checkout” and complete that process, a form will pop up. Write in your question(s), then click “send.” An attorney will then review your questions as soon as possible!
What Happens After I Submit the Form?
Within about 24 hours (and often much sooner!), you'll receive an in-depth answer from an experienced attorney. Feel free to continue the conversation from there with the attorney!
We are a nonprofit, not a law firm, so we will not charge any attorney fees, hourly fees, or hidden fees. Because of that, feel free to ask away, and please be as detailed as possible! We’re here to help.
Can I Cancel the Subscription?
Yes, anytime. Squarespace manages subscriptions, so your email confirmation of your purchase will include a link to manage or cancel your subscription.
Just remember that this is a small nonprofit that only has so many slots available for this subscription. So, if you cancel the subscription, you may not be able to access it again, and attorneys often charge $300 or more for in-person consultations.
